What to Expect During a Nutrition Counseling Sessions:
Individual nutrition counseling sessions are one hour for an initial consult, and 30 minutes for a follow up.
In the initial consultation, we will fully explore your health history and lifestyle before collaborating to devise an individualized plan.
During your follow up, we will discuss any obstacles that have come up while implementing these lifestyle changes, and any future challenges, to keep you on track.
You will receive the support you need to make positive changes that will empower you to take charge of your health.
Payments and Insurance for Nutrition Counseling Services
Payments are due at the point of service, and may be made by:
Cash, check, PayPal, Health Savings Account (HSA), or Flex Spending Account (FSA)
Insurance Coverage for Nutrition Services:
Some insurance companies will reimburse for Registered Dietitian services. Contact your provider directly to ask about coverage. If coverage is available, you will need a physician prescription with a qualifying diagnosis. Upon request, Health Dynamics will provide you with a Super Bill document at the end of your appointment for you to submit to your provider, along with your physician prescription, for reimbursement.
Please provide 24 hours notice for cancellation of nutrition appointment to avoid being charged full appointment fee.
